Energy

However you look at it, the energy transition to renewable resources is both necessary and unavoidable. But it does generate resistance and delay, due to vested interests and an inadequate sense of societal urgency. For this reason, the smooth transfer to an energy system with affordable and sustainable energy for everybody cannot be taken for granted.

Ifund wants the energy transition to accelerate radically. This is necessary due to pollution, the dependency of dictatorial regimes, the depletion of fossil fuels and the increasing costs. It means that we will relinquish our addiction to fossil fuels and embark on the development of a new energy culture. Ifund focuses specifically on these innovations and on companies that contribute to the development of local and sustainable energy solutions, that in turn lead to a radical reduction in energy consumption or forge a breakthrough in the costs or availability of energy produced sustainably.
